Considering that you’re looking for someone to be responsible for authentically telling your story, it’s important we get to know each other. Having a connection, and building that trust between each other is so important for this chapter of your lives. It doesn’t matter if its your wedding day, or if you’re looking to just spend time together exploring. Having your story told true to who you both are begins with us getting to know each other.
I’ve had the privilege of telling the stories of amazing couples all over the world for the last 6 years. Elopements, weddings, or just photo hangs for fun. It’s been an unreal journey, and nothing short of a blessing. I couldn’t see myself doing anything else with my life, and I don’t plan to.
Before I fell into destination wedding photography, I used to work on private super yachts in the Caribbean. Think Below Deck on Bravo, minus the hype and drama just for the TV. The Yachts are actually where I got my start with photography! I used to take so many photos during my adventures through the islands, I guess it caught the eye of some of my engaged travel friends. I was asked to fly out to LA on a whim to capture the wedding of a friend I had made years back, and everything snowballed from there. One wedding led to another, and now here we are. I’m thankful to share over 50 weddings and elopements annually with amazing couples all over the world, along with receiving several awards ranging from various publications, to being selected as having one of the best wedding photographs in the world in 2019 by JuneBug Weddings and The Huffington Post.
When I’m not traveling for weddings or elopements, I’m traveling for fun. There’s too much out there to experience to not try for it all, and I will always chat travel with you if traveling is your thing too! I’m a huge foodie (let’s be real, who isn’t?), and I really enjoy getting outside into the mountains as much as I can. For as much as I love being out and about, I’m definitely a homebody when I can. What’s wrong with an odd day on the couch burning through as much Netflix and door dash as one person can handle? We all need a break sometimes. Trust is huge to me, and open communication. I’ve been a HUGE sap as long as I can remember, and am so happy to have a calling in life where I can tap into that part of my being. I love meeting new people from all walks of life, and learning about their relationship together. Every story is so different, and just as unique as the two amazing people sharing it together. It’s a story that deserves to be told true to itself. To yourselves. All the messy, perfectly imperfect moments. The ugly laughs. The deep embraces. That’s life, and a beautiful part of it at that. Let’s tell that story.
